Many people complain that their skin just can't be as good as the products they are using described, though they are crazily expensive. In fact, the value of any beauty product doesn't lie on its price. A high-priced product mainly means the unusual ingredient, or it takes much time and laborious procedures. If you are still hopeful for a nice skin, follow the next steps, maybe your confidence will be regained.

Step 1: Find out your skin type

Remember this is crucial to your skin. Since every product is mainly aimed at one type. If you have extremely oily skin, but you are using a dry-typed facial cream (usually very oily and nutritious), of course pimples & acne will show up on your face, even if it costs more than 100 pounds.

As a matter of fact, there are four types of skin: dry skin, oily skin, normal skin, combination skin. But it will be found out easily after cleaning your face. Feel your face gently. If it is lacking in water, your skin probably belongs to dry type. If you can feel it obviously sticky and greasy, it should be classified to oily type. If water and nutrition are just on a delicate balance, congratulations, your skin is normal typed, which is usually the easiest to be taken care of. Still, there is another one not mentioned yet, so what is combination skin? You can say it is a term used to describe facial skin that shows symptoms of both dry skin and oily skin.(namely dry in T zone but oily on other parts) So perhaps it is the most difficult skin type but due to physiological influence, it is also the most outstanding skin type because the majority are suffering from it.

Step 2: Choose your suitable products

It would be stupid to use your face as laboratory, by trying products one by one. After all, our face is not recyclable, if it is damaged, the chance to get it repaired is almost zero. So how to get the best products for yourself? First, still apply your skin typed ones, if you are not sure about the brand, try to avoid those nameless products (especially not to buy them in grocery stores). After all, the highly-rated brands have been tested and approved by most of people, which should be less risky. (Of course you can choose those no-name ones if they are proved to be great)

Then, after choosing the brand, we can get down to looking for a precise product. I always “investigate” the reviews of the product before purchase. There are usually a lot of comments from all skin typed people, which you can have a glimpse and refer to the application of yourself. Also you can simply input the name of the product in Google, and get to know more information through reviews or other people’s relevant blogs from the results.

Step 3: Be care of fake products

It is also a sad fact that everything can be copied or even replaced today. Thus we can never be too careful of those fake products. Where to buy has also become an essential matter.
